Bert has also been the Chairman and owner of Morgan Samuels Company, a top tier executive search firm since 1997. Bert was previously a General Partner of Meridian Strategies, Inc. a spin-off of McKinsey & Company. Prior to joining Meridian Strategies, Bert was a Building and Project Manager at LaSalle Partners, an Associate Brand Manager at Kraft-General Foods and a helicopter pilot in the US Army. Bert holds a JD from Loyola Law School, and Master of Science in Business Administration from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from West Point. Bert is married to Kate Hensley.

Keith invented the world’s lowest temperature heat engine and other groundbreaking technologies that has led to the production of HSE’s Flagship Product, the Dual Heat Engine. His vision and extraordinary engineering capability led to the numerous patents and designs that has allowed HSE to produce the most amount of electricity from low temperatures. Before founding HSE, Keith is a Master Electrician who started in the industry at age 16. He has contracted many large electrical and HVAC commercial projects and has owned and operated various commercial businesses.

Specifically, Janet built the base for the company’s business infrastructure. She has a background in construction as she sub-divided property and designed and contracted for mountain houses in Idaho. Janet is passionate about renewable energy. Together with Keith, they have worked on several renewable energy projects. Janet is married to Keith Johnson.

Kate and her daughter, Hope, actively serve their community through their work benefiting the Nashville Rescue Mission, Ronald McDonald House, and the Nashville Humane Association. They also provide “Hope Chests” in Nashville metro Title 1 schools and regularly supply these schools with school shirts, supplies, and backpacks. Kate is also a certified food addiction specialist and coach. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia University and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University. Kate is married to Bert Hensley.

Separately, he is the Managing Director of RKBC Financial LLC and has over 40 years of experience with a foundation in technical accounting (KPMG – US & Singapore) and a proven ability to drive operational efficiencies, winning business strategies, and superior financial results.  Ron has served in a variety of roles, from CFO to Vice President of Finance; Controller; Strategic Planning; Asset Management; Director of Audit; and Financial Planning, Operations, and Analysis. He has effectively executed restructurings and reinvented finance and accounting organizations across various industries and company sizes from Fortune 100 to start-ups. Ron is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant as well as a member of Financial Executives International with Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and in Finance. 

He utilizes his Mechanical Engineering background in designing innovative mechanical systems and solving complex engineering challenges. Russ has a strong foundation in engineering principles and advanced technologies which have enabled him to play a major role in developing HSE’s Dual Heat Engine.  Russ' expertise extends to areas such as CAD modeling, thermodynamics, and design for manufacturing. Russ has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.

He was the former Chief Operating Officer of Petersen Inc, the Assistant Vice President of Continuous Improvement at Intermountain Healthcare and former Vice President of manufacturing for ATK Armament Systems group, as well as former plant manager at the two-time winner of the Shingo prize. He has led multiple organizations through cultural transformation. Bryan co-authored the Shingo prize winning book, “Own the Gap: How to Build a Daily Kaizen Culture”. Bryan received a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Weber State University and an MBA from Utah State University.
